In the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Brionna Taylor, Philando Castile, Atatiana Koquice Jefferson, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland, Michael Brown, Shukri Ali Said, Tamir Rice, DeCynthia Clements, Trayvon Martin and other African Americans, a local, national and international movement has arisen, giving a new voice to long-standing demands for justice, equality, and an end to state-sanctioned violence against African Americans - and all people of color.

As Angela Davis so clearly states, it’s not enough to be non-racist.
We must educate ourselves on the deep, enduring harms of racism,
challenge ourselves to grow as individuals, and become active anti-racists.
